for my Valentine" while MELOVINE is reminiscent of Deftones and Tool, -
"like Seether but with more balls"!

PARK LANE recorded their first E.P. at
Sushifish Records in San Diego in late 2008. Released in 2009, this
self titled E.P. is now available on both ITunes.com, Amazon.com,
etc. This release along with heavy social networking sparked a huge
buzz and nationwide fan base even capturing the ears of many great well
known metal and hard rock bands. In support of the E.P. they toured most of 2009 with
"As I Lay Dying" and many more.
They are also a local favorite at the infamous Whiskey A Go Go
back home. The band is ranked #17 on www.Indiecharts.com.
Their single "the Fallen" is in regular rotation on both commercial and
college radio stations nationwide and is also ranked #50 on the same
charts.
MELOVINE is a modern rock band hailing from the small island of Galveston, Texas. After losing nearly everything (including their homes) in Hurricane Ike, the band quickly bounced back with their hit single "Lose The Smile." The track was selected by Shaun Morgan of Seether and executives of Lionsgate Entertainment as the runner up for the Punisher: War Zone movie soundtrack and the song appeared on the extended DVD release of the movie. The band also won the "Best In Houston" Texas Buzz Music Award from FM 94.5 The Buzz that same year. is currently in the studio working on a full length album with world re-known producer
Michael S. Rosen (Papa Roach, AFI. Tesla, Testament, Rancid, Death
Angel, etc) . The full length album will be released this fall
and available for purchase in all major retail stores nationwide via
Risk It All Records. The bands new album and early production tracks have already peaked the interest of
executives at both Warner

MELOVINE's unwavering
commitment and take no prisoners attitude has earned them a loyal fan
base around the globe. The band has shared the stage with many national
acts including Chevelle,
10 Years, Sevendust, Saliva, Smile Empty Soul, Hurt, Great White, and
many others. The band is currently gearing up for their 3rd US tour.
This time, in support of their highly anticipated new album entitled
"Blight". The CD is scheduled for independent release on July 17, 2010.
National CD release date later this Fall 2010 via Risk It All Records.
