John Common
“John Common & Blinding Flashes of Light emerged through smoke dressed to kill in black and red. From the second they took the stage until the second they left it, they played with the sort of blind joy that will make you believe in whatever they're doing -- it's pure passion and happiness.” – Westword

"John's clever lyrics and perfectly crafted songs are outdone only by his huge and prolific body of work. This guy puts out a solid album twice a year. No wonder his songs are good." – Denver Music Scene, Top Ten Singer-Songwriters
"Beautiful Empty showcases a songwriter of remarkable depth and maturity." – Denver Post
“By the third song, I was a fan. By the fifth song, I wanted to join the band. The music was very nearly flawless. It was one of those “good for the soul” music moments for me.” – The Examiner
"Raw, yet sophisticated pop." – The Onion

The Knew
The Knew's version of rock and roll is one of blistering hopefulness that explodes in positive, energetic odes to love and hate, life and death – ultimately landing on a final note of enduring optimism and fun. Their debut full-length, Pulpería, is loaded with youthful excitement that inspires listeners to not feel any guilt in pleasure. Live, you can expect the musical equivalent of a trunk full of illegal fireworks.

Above all else, The Knew wants you to smile and laugh, but is satisfied if you frown and cry - as long as you are eating at the same time.

Whilst the danish DJ Tom Collins worked his way up through the danish clubscene he became synonymous with Breaks. Breaks is also the origin for his love to dancemusic however his funk fueled electrified sets are made up from far more than breaks. The key to his sets is a combination of what works, what he digs and what surprises. With this put into action you will have ignited a party almost defined as tech funk: An immense cocktail of electro, house, techno, breaks and lots of love.. And beware, his trademark is also to shake it all up with bits and pieces from TV, movies and real life.
Ten years has passed since Tom Collins first encounter with the turntable and lots has happend since then: Starting out with djing at small underground clubs to huge rave parties with thousands of participants, Tom Collins has earned his experience through hard work, successes and failures. He has emerged as a rock solid dj who never seems to dissapoint no matter what kind of gig.
Tom Collins activity at the Danish clubscene has brought him djing with amongst others: Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Adam Freeland, Pete Tong, Sander Kleinenberg and Frank Lorber. And Danish primetime djs such as Rune RK and T.O.M. & Trentemøller. Tom Collins won the Thirst competition in Denmark 2004, held by Heineken in 35 countires. Winning Thirst, Tom Collins proved that he is the best technician behind the decks in Denmark.
The judges substantiated their choice of Tom Collins as winner with these remarks:
Miss Motif: Tom Collins was a clear winner. We were impressed by the way he carried himself. He seemed more confident. He was the best technically, as well, and he played some very interesting tracks... This break beat electro thing... He gave himself 100 % dancing... As a DJ, you are there to entertain people and he certainly did that...
Pete Tong: The Danish Found@Thirst winner Tom had a really good sound that mixed funky four four with big room breaks. He was pretty tight on the technical side of things and a sure sign that good things are happening in Denmark.
Tom Collins is both a booker and djing at the major venues and clubscenes in Copenhagen. He has been the booker of groundbreaking electro club KAT and organiser at yearly Copenhagen club festival Distortion. Now he works on his own on freelance basis. Furthermore he has a regular radioshow at the largest station on the net for breakbeat;
BreaksFM based in South London.
Tom Collins did the support act for The Prodigys scandinavian gigs with great success in the fall 2005. He has also started a series of breaks clubnights in Copenhagen with partner in crime Lewis Colston. Adam Freeland, Stanton Warriors, DJ Deekline, DJ Assault, Skream & Chef has been amongst the guests. The nights are to return in the spring 2007 Check:

Gangcharger
Gangcharger's music sounds like it was created by a splinter cell of a futuristic resistance movement. The headlong momentum and incandescent, cutting sound of the guitar on so many of its songs convey a sense of desperation coupled with absolute certainty. Gangcharger's music sounds like it was created by a splinter cell of a futuristic resistance movement. The headlong momentum and incandescent, cutting sound of the guitar on so many of its songs convey a sense of desperation coupled with absolute certainty. The images and noises of urban decay and heavy industry are suggested even in the moments when the band engages in gorgeously thorny melodies. Mixing the dusky with the bright and a gritty intensity with menacing emotional atmospheres, Gangcharger's sound is a focused beam of perilous energy. Deftly incorporating claustrophobic dynamics with passages of stark spaciousness, this foursome writes music that is anything but predictable.
Based in Denver, Gangcharger's edgy, insistent spirit can be heard on every track of its full-length album, Free Exhaust. Immediate touchstones would be the blistering psychedelia of Magik Markers, Sonic Youth's inspired imperfection and the prickly fluidity of Bailter Space. Amid a flurry of sonic shrapnel and spark-streaming electrodes, Ethan Ward's feral incantations serve as the perfect complement to how Paige Peterson's vocals cut through everything with cool confidence. Noise rockers with a keen sense of musicality, Gangcharger exerts a raw, powerful sound with an imaginative nuance. - Tom Murphy

Rachel James
While Rachel has been playing the piano and singing her entire life, she has only recently entered the music scene in Denver and around the world. However, in that short time, her accomplishments are impressive. As a songwriter her tunes are gathering hundreds of thousands of hits on youtube (Catch Me if You Can, Saddle Up, Save Yourself and more) as well as receiving the applause and endorsements of Ryan Tedder, Tyler Ward and Nashville publishers.

As an artist Rachel has grown into a dynamic performer, accomplished producer and has a voice that rivals any current pop artist already get radio play. The Denver music scene has taken notice:
"Rachel James is a force to be reckoned with." - Jeanie Straub, Colorado Music Buzz Magazine
"She's Avril plus maturity and earnestness." - Kiernan Maletsky, Westword Magazine
"I think Rachel James is fresh. She is an amazing talent." - Tyler Ward
As determined as she is flexible, Rachel is thankful about her current situation given her short introduction into the music scene. She is staying true to her original goals, "I just want to write great songs. That's where it starts. I want to exceed people's expectations. I want people to walk away with something when they hear my music." New tunes in hand, Rachel is committed to having her best year yet. With songs already licensed to major television programs and heavy rotation in Triple A radio, Rachel is ready to take it to the next level and can't wait for the opportunity.
