1. Sol is a Seattle, Washington based hip-hop artist. His signature sound maintains a marriage between the core values of hip-hop and the mainstream sensibility of pop(ular) music. Sol says that he grew up on a combination of 90’s rap music (Outkast and De La Soul), while his parent's favorites Prince and Marvin Gaye played in the background. Sol's most recent recording, "Dear Friends, Vol. II", enjoyed significant support after it's release for free download on the internet. In October, Sol’s song “So Damn High” climbed the charts on New York based blog tracking website Hype Machine, reaching #1 above the likes of Kanye West, DeadMau5, and Kings of Leon. Already dubbed “Seattle’s Prince", the 22 year old is currently in the studio recording his second full-length album.

10. Sol is the stage name of Marc Favreau (born November 9, 1929 in Montreal, Quebec and died December 17, 2005 same city), a Canadian (Québécois) poet. He is best remembered for the witty deconstructions of the French language which he invented for Sol's monologues.

SOL is a trance venture of Christian Schek (aka Krystian Shek) and Ramin Naghachian (previously of the group Sad World), whom have thus far released a single album, Stardust, in 2003, on the Fax +49-69/450464 label. The disc is quite different to other Fax material, being quite playful, upbeat and a danceable record from start to finish - very dissimilar to the ambient explorations and divinations of Namlook, Atom Heart, Dr. Atmo et al. There's also lyrics on three tracks, which is highly unusual for a Fax disc, even in the 00's.

Scribes is a young, independently established Seattle based rap artist. He has realesed 2 official independent recording projects: "Sleepwalk" his first full length album which was relased in 2007 the year after he graduated from high school and "Summertime Sampler 2009" a 5 track EP which was released in May 2009. Scribes has had years of experience as a live performer. He has performed at venues all over the city of Seattle and has opened for national and local acts such as Wu-Tang Clan, GZA, RZA, Andre Nikatina, Zion i, Mistah Fab, Stone Gossard and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam, Blue Scholars, and Common Market among others. He has a full length album, largely produced by Bean One of Dyme Def, that is scheduled to be released in 2010. Although totally independent and currently unsigned he may establish other representation and managment for the release of his upcoming album.

The young Seattle, WA emcee demonstrates both the freshness of a new artist and the homed skills of a veteran. Able to effortlessly switch from political soldier to light-hearted lyricist, Scribes' craft is strong yet malleable.

In 2007 Scribes dropped his debut album "Sleepwalk". A bold effort that attacked the forces of capitalism and greed while managing to stay upbeat and entertaining. Giving credit to the old crowd while announcing his arrival, Scribes proved that he has the knowledge of hip hop's history combined with the potential to carry it on to the next step.

The Good Husbands is a hip-hop group from Washington state made up of: “Spencer Satin, Zach LaRiviere, Tyler Roberts, Trent Roberts, Tyler Hart, Alysha Shane, Winslow Cobos, & Buds galore.” Yes, I know, (mainly thanks to Sam Adams) there are now a million and a half white, suburban rap acts trying to make it big but there’s too major differences with The Good Husbands: 1. They can actually rap. 2. ‘Aly’ gives them a unique dynamic in some of their songs with her beautiful voice.
