RoboRAVE International is open to any group in grades 3-12 from ANYWHERE.

Registration OPENS: September 15, 2011
Workshops Available for Coaches and Players: September through March Registration CLOSES:April 1, 6 p.m.

The week before the event: Teams and Coach packet stuffing by volunteers
The day before the event: Set up by volunteers link to volunteer page

Ice Cream Social (the night before the event)

 

  • Coaches and players pick up team packets, locate PIT assignments and display banners.
  • Awards Given For:
  • Fastest ‘Bot (Winner: $100)         
  • Most Popular Robot Name (Winner: $60/team)
  • Cutest Robot (Winner: $60/team)
  • FREE ICE CREAM

RoboRAVE International (the day of)

 

7 a.m.  Doors open.  Tickets required for spectators ($10 per adult, $1 per child)
8:00    Opening Ceremony and Parade
8:30    LINE FOLLOWING Challenge practice heats
FIRE FIGHTING Challenge qualification opens
General Public Adventure Challenges begin (tickets available at The Store)
9:00    LINE FOLLOWING Challenge scored heats begin
12:00 Lunch on your own.  Food vendors will be inside and outside of the Convention Center.
Entertainment 
FIRE FIGHTING Challenge qualifications close
1 p.m.  LINE FOLLOWING Challenge resumes.  
1:30    FIRE FIGHTING Challenge heats begin.
2:00    LINE FOLLOWING Challenge ends.
3:00    FIRE FIGHTING Challenge ends.
