Rex Peoples is a true blues legend around these parts, and when you hear his voice you'll know why! Rex has been making great blues music in Colorado for a long, long time. He has represented the Colorado Blues Society in Memphis, written hit songs and sung with just about everyone who is anyone, lately doing shows with Hazel Miller, Lionel Young, Bobbie Messano. He is the real deal!

Deborah Stafford & The State of Affairs are making a name for themselves in the blues world. They were honored to represent MHBS at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis this year. Their CD "Blused & Confused" was chosen as the best self-produced CD with Mile High Blues Society. They were nominated for best band and best songwriters at the Colorado Blues Society Members Choice awards, and they made their first you-tube video. They have been killing it on stages all over the front range and are playing festivals like Sweetwater Blues & Brew, Cherry Creek Arts Fest and FOCOMX. Join us for a night of the "Best of the Blues There will also be a FREE Blues Dance Lesson with Kevin Kim and Grace Cooley before the show at 6:00 pm -- you don't want to miss this night of Blues @ The Rose!

X Factr was created by singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and Blues in Schools educator Rex Peoples in 2007. X Factr was created by singer, songwriter, vocal coach, and Blues in Schools educator Rex Peoples in 2007, and is intentionally spelled without the “o” to represent the intangibles that make the religious shout, the partiers dance, and remind us of the emotions that make us say, “That’s my song!”
