Tsavo Highway is an indie rock band from Buffalo, NY, known for feel good music, heartfelt songwriting, and live shows that pull people in from the first note. Their sound blends indie rock, jam, and Americana in a way that feels warm, energetic, and easy to connect with.

The band has been steadily growing across the region, sharing stages with artists like Andy Frasco and the U.N., Spafford, The Magic Beans, Yam Yam, Chirp, Big Shrimp, Thank You Scientist, Shira Elias, Michael Angelo Carubba, JWAIL Live Band featuring Natalie Cressman from Trey Anastasio Band, Kito B. from Particle, Scott Hannay, Underground Springhouse, Seven Teller, and Good Trees River Band.

In 2023, Tsavo Highway earned Best New Band and Best Vocalist in the All WNY Awards, shining a bigger spotlight on what they were building. Since then, they’ve taken/continue to travel on tours that stretch through Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse, Sherman, Geneva, Jamestown, Elmira, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, Brooklyn, and New York City. They’ve also appeared on multiple podcasts and have been featured several times on News 4 Buffalo. In August 2025, frontwoman Emily Scripps performed the National Anthem for the Savannah Bananas on national television, putting the band in front of more than a million viewers. In summer 2026, the band will be performing at The Great Blue Heron Music Festival alongside artists Ripe, Big Something, The Dip, Moontricks, and more.

Their music reflects their growth as a band and their drive to keep creating. Pit Stop and Find a Way earned early support from NYS Music, Last Day Deaf, and Modern Neon. In 2024, they released Buffalo Girls, V Day Song, Introspect, and Marco Polo, which led to their first full-length album Circles in January 2025. They continued releasing new music in 2025, including their single Sit Tight in September and a high-energy version of Voodoo Child (Slight Return) featuring Jason Mescia from Yam Yam in October.

At the heart of Tsavo Highway is a love for connection and community. Whether on stage, in the studio, or out on the road, they aim to make music that feels good and brings people together.
