Piles of Smiles - Local Jam Night

NO COVER

Join Special Characters in a night of improvisation, musical exploration, and expirementation at The Jazz Cafe. The guys from the band are inviting any local musicians to bring their instruments and hop onstage. The night will flow organically without a sign up sheet just as the music will, so dont be shy to approach the stage. We will be collecting donations at the door to benefit the Jeff Haraschak Memorial Scholarship.

Two guitar amps, a bass rig, and drums will be backlined.

“The Jeff Haraschak Memorial Scholarship grants an opportunity for young musicians in the Hazleton Area School District to further their learning through various summer programs such as Ferrwood Music Camp, Vivace Leadership Camps, or Wyoming Seminar programs. Every year several students apply for the scholarship to be awarded at the annual Music in Our Schools Month Concert: Jeff was an avid supporter of the local music scene as well as community music education programs.”
